How to navigate the Davis Family Physicians phone system
During regular business hours:
8:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday
Dial the main telephone number: 801 773-7232
After regular business hours call 801 773-7232 and follow the instructions to leave a message for the “on-call” provider. Please UNBLOCK your caller ID so we can call you back.
After calling the main telephone number hold the line to schedule an appointment or to be transferred to leave a message for a nurse.*

Prescription renewal requests should be sent to a DFP provider from your pharmacy. Please do not call the clinic for medication renewal requests. We ask that you give at least 24 hours advance notice to your pharmacy and provider to renew your prescription. If it has been longer than 24 hours or you experience a problem with your request please contact your pharmacy first, and if necessary call the clinic and:
Dial 4204 or 4036 for assitance with prescriptions; (only after you have first called your pharmacy).
* Our medical assistants check their messages several times throughout the day and they do their best to return your voicemail message within a 24-hour period. Please do not leave multiple messages regarding the same item as this will slow down the process. Most answers will be forwarded to you from your physician by the end of day.
